Genesis 16:13 NKJV You-Are-the-God-Who-Sees
My people seem lost and directionless. Like nomads, they wonder around with no place to rest, and are considered outcasts even in the land of their birth. Yet, I gather them to myself. My royal priesthood, my holy nation, the apple of my eye and declare you shall wonder no more, for I am your shield and buckler, the defender of my people.
I am the barrier, the buffer that surrounds those who I call my own and declare, no weapon formed against you shall prosper. Set aside your plans to defend yourselves. Stop seeking a way of escape or a solution to the situation you are faced with.
Rise up in My name, come to Me, run towards Me, for your heavenly Father knows all things and in Me you shall find the rest and comfort you so diligently seek. Come rest from your weary travels, come into my open arms and allow My sweet embrace to comfort your heart.
Indeed I see all things, and it is for this reason that I remember the Covenant I have with you. Beware of those who go out with loud voices saying go this way and have even said they are my prophets, but these are not mine, I have not sent them to you. These divines and false prophets who you so eagerly follow have a false and misleading agenda. You do not have to be afraid of them, for their words will be used against them. Even those who say they come in the name of the Lord, will come with deception in their hearts, but pride will keep them from speaking the truth. Nothing they say shall come to pass, their words will return empty to where it came from.
Jeremiah 29:8 NKJV For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Do not let your prophets and your diviners who are in your midst deceive you, nor listen to your dreams which you cause to be dreamed.
How will we know who You have sent, you ask, these are those who I have nurtured and trained in My presence. I have protected and kept them in seeming obscurity and now I will send them to you, and with great signs and wonders they will declare the word which I have spoken and it shall indeed come to pass.
Jeremiah 29:11-14 NKJV For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. [12] Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. [13] And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. [14] I will be found by you, says the LORD, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the LORD, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.
Now return to Me. You have wondered a far off, but now I am gathering you unto Myself. Zech 10:8 NKJV I will whistle for them and gather them, For I will redeem them; And they shall increase as they once increased.
Here are precious promises to the people of God and to the latter days of the church. Preaching the gospel is God's call for souls to come to Jesus Christ. Those whom Christ redeemed by his blood, God will gather by his grace. Difficulties shall be got over easily, and effectually, as those in the way of the deliverance out of Egypt. God himself will be their strength, and their song. When we resist, and so overcome our spiritual enemies, then our hearts shall rejoice. If God strengthen us, we must bestir ourselves in all the duties of the Christian life, must be active in the work of God; and we must do all in the name of the Lord Jesus.
